As Magni’s strength never falters, so do we let all weakness of spirit fall away. We stand strong and clear, ready to receive his powerful blessing.

Jörð, you who bear the strongest of all beings! Magni’s strength mirrors your own eternal stability. Bless this rite with the power of the earth itself.

We gather to honor Magni, god of strength and might. We come to celebrate physical and spiritual power, to seek his blessings on all our endeavors to grow strong.

We seek his gifts of strength, courage, and the mighty heart that fear cannot defeat.

The Fire

From Muspelheim comes sacred flame—powerful and enduring, like Magni’s own strength. This fire burns with mighty intensity. Hail to the fire!

The Well

Ritual Leader pours water with force and power

Mimir’s Well holds all strength and all power. Magni drinks deep and gains greater might. Hail to the well!

The World Tree

Ritual Leader places hand on central pole with power

Yggdrasil stands strong through all trials. Magni will grasp Mjolnir and wield it when the tree shakes. Hail to the World Tree!

The Three Worlds

Through Magni’s might, the worlds will be renewed after Ragnarok. True strength endures even beyond the end of all things.

Heimdallr, we call upon you! Open the gates for Magni! The mighty one approaches with his strength and power. Let the passage be clear.

The Ancestors

Come, honored ones! You who were strong and mighty, who passed down strength to us! Come and share in this celebration of power.

The Nature Spirits

Come, wild spirits of strength and power! Come and celebrate your lord’s might!

The Shining Ones

Come, all the Powers! And especially you, Magni, strong god, come and know us as your people seeking strength.

Grant us the physical and spiritual strength we need. Grant us the dedication to grow ever stronger. Grant us your blessing, that we might stand mighty as you do.

Step 12: Hallowing the Blessing

Ritual Leader marks each person’s shoulders or arms with oil

By Magni’s might, may you be blessed. His strength flows through you. His power lives in you. His courage fills you.

Step 13: Affirmation of the Blessing

We accept Magni’s blessings this day. We pledge to develop our strength in all ways. We pledge to use our power for good purposes.

By the blessing of Magni, god of strength and might, we are made strong and mighty this day and all our days.

Community may perform workings for strength, courage, or physical/spiritual power

Now is the time for any workings. Call upon Magni’s power to strengthen your resolve and your body.

Step 17: Thanking Earth Mother

Jörð, thank you for holding this rite, for bearing all strength and power. We return to you what is left.

The rite is complete. Magni’s blessing of strength settles into our bones and our spirits. We are powerful.
