Sigyn is the goddess of fidelity and unwavering loyalty, standing by her beloved through hardship. This ritual honors her steadfast presence and seeks her blessing for loyalty in love and commitment.
Preparation
Gather: Candle, water, wine, bread, symbols of bonds (cord, ring, or joined hands if with partner)
The Ritual
1. Opening (1 minute)
“I kindle this flame for Sigyn, goddess of steadfast love and unwavering loyalty.”
2-3. Honoring Jörð & Purification (1 minute)
“Jörð, I stand here with true heart. I cleanse myself of doubt and fear.”
4. Calling the Kindreds (1 minute)
“Ancestors of enduring love, spirits of loyalty, Shining Ones—I call upon Sigyn!”
5. Invocation (2 minutes)
“Sigyn, The Faithful One! You who stood by Loki even through his chaos and punishment, holding the bowl to catch the venom. I honor your steadfast presence and your unwavering love.
Bless the bonds I hold dear. Grant me strength to remain faithful through difficulty. Help me love with loyalty and endurance.”
6. Offering (1 minute)
Pour wine:
“I offer you wine, symbol of shared joy through both sweet and bitter times.”
7. Personal Prayer (3 minutes)
