From Muspelheim comes sacred flame—warming against winter’s bite, burning bright against darkness. This fire gives life and warmth. Hail to the fire!

The Well

Ritual Leader pours ice-cold water

Mimir’s Well holds all the frozen waters of winter. These waters are clear and crystal-pure, revealing all truths. Hail to the well!

The World Tree

Ritual Leader touches central pole with strong hand

Yggdrasil stands in winter’s grip, its branches bare but unbroken, its strength eternal. Skaði knows the tree in all seasons. Hail to the World Tree!

The Three Worlds

Through Skaði’s domain, winter comes to all worlds, testing all beings and strengthening what survives.

Skaði! Mountain goddess, fierce hunter, winter’s lady! You who stride across peaks and glide across snow! Come to this rite and know the respect and admiration we bear for your strength and independence.

For your strength and your refusal to bow to weakness. For the mountains you call home. For your skill as a hunter and warrior. For the beauty of winter that you command. For your fierce independence and unwavering spirit.

These praises and this offering we give to you, Skaði.
