The Ritual

1-4. Opening & Kindreds (2 minutes)

“I kindle this flame for Vidar, the Silent One, god of quiet strength. Ancestors, spirits, Shining Ones—I honor Vidar!”

5. Invocation (1 minute)

“Vidar, Strong and Silent! Grant me quiet strength and righteous purpose done without seeking recognition!”

6. Offering (1 minute)

Pour ale and speak:

“I offer you ale. Accept this gift of gratitude.”

7. Personal Prayer (2 minutes)

Ask Vidar for: quiet strength, righteous action, steady purpose.

8. Closing (1 minute)

“Vidar, I thank you. My strength is quiet and true. So be it!”
